I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect pair of sweatpants — comfortable, flattering, and worth the price. I tried several brands, from affordable options to higher-end favorites. Here’s my honest review of each one.
⸻
H&M Joggers $25
These are hands down one of my favorites!! They fit great — even my husband mentioned how good they looked on me. They don’t sag in the back, they’re comfortable, and they wash and dry nicely. I love that they have a drawstring waist and pockets, and the length is just right. Cons: only 4 colors

Walmart $11
I absolutely love these classic sweatpants!! There’s nothing fancy about them, but if you want that old-school, comfortable, throw-on-and-go style, these are it. The length is great, they have pockets, and at $11, they’re a total steal. I wear an XS, and they fit perfectly. Definitely get these. You have nothing to lose.

Abercrombie $60
These sweatpants are very cute, but I wasn’t a fan of the thick seam running up the front. It gave them a structured look that didn’t feel as relaxed as I’d like. They’re priced around $60, which felt a little high for the quality. On the plus side, they do have pockets. Ultimately, I returned.

⸻
Aerie Offline Baggy $45
These were way too big — almost comically oversized. The “baggy” look was just a little too much for me personally, though I think teens might find them cute and trendy. They’re priced around $45 and come with pockets.
⸻
Perfect White Tee $100-130
Cute and comfortable, but I think they’re overpriced for what they are. They have a nice drawstring, which I appreciate, but no pockets — something to consider if that’s a must for you. The fit is good overall, though they do stretch out and get a little saggy after wearing. I expected a bit more. I’m keeping them because I ordered mine new with tags from Poshmark.
⸻
Aritzia $90
These are definitely a classic. They’re comfortable and well-made, and I can see why so many people love them. However, I think they’re overpriced for sweatpants. They do have pockets and come in various lengths, which is a nice bonus. Tried on but didn’t buy.
⸻
Target $25
Unfortunately, I haven’t found any styles from Target that I liked. I tried a barrel-style pair, but the stitching at the knees was so bad I had to return them immediately. I honestly don’t know how anyone could wear them comfortably.
⸻
Gap (Not Factory) $30-45
Gap’s sweatpants are cute, comfortable, and come in lots of colors, sizes, and lengths. The price point is great. I don’t love the waistband personally, but everyone else seems to rave about these. They’re good, just not a “wow” for me. I own these and wear them but not super impressed.

Final Thoughts
Overall, as of now, my top picks would be the H&M Joggers for fit and style, and the Walmart classics for unbeatable comfort and price. I’m still going to try DSG sweatpants — they came highly recommended — as well as the Aerie non-baggy joggers. I’ll report back once I’ve tested those!
